Set of sockets

Set of nuts with plastic protective cover for mounting and dismounting wheel bolts and nuts.

1. DESIGN AND USE
Set of nuts in sizes 17, 19 and 21 mm. The plastic cover protects the disc, but considerably weakens the nut body. The nut can only be exposed to the permissible torque, which for a screw diameter of 16 mm is max. 300 Nm. When loaded with a higher torque, the nut breaks. The walnut destroyed in this way cannot be claimed.

2. TIGHTENING
When tightening with a nut with a plastic cover, a small torque (approx. 100 Nm) is set on the tightener and the final tightening to a value of max. 150 Nm is performed with a torque wrench.

3. LOOSENING
Only a maximum torque of 300 Nm can be used when loosening screws with nuts with a plastic cover. This is sufficient for properly tightened and properly treated screws. If the screws are rusted or incorrectly tightened, an unattenuated nut must be used for removal, without a plastic cover.
